Summer School: New Frontiers in Ultrafast Quantum Optics

08-12 June 2026. Summer School of Quantum Technologies

The School provided 25 upper secondary school students with an introduction to quantum technologies: quantum computing, including a comparison between classical and quantum logic and quantum algorithms, and cryptography, including the difference between classical and quantum cryptography and the BB84 protocol. The School was evenly divided between lectures, computational exercises and the execution of algorithms on real quantum computers, and experimental activities.
