Marco Ballabio Seminar June 2026

25/06/2026, h11:30-12:30. Unveiling the Semiconducting Properties in Graphene-Analogue Metal-Organic Frameworks. Metal–organic frameworks are best known for their exceptional porosity, but a new generation of conductive MOFs is rapidly expanding their technological potential. This seminar presents recent advances in the ultrafast optoelectronic characterization of triphenylene-based MOFs, revealing how light-induced charge transport and photoconductivity can be engineered through the choice of metal centers.
